We learned a really neat twist to hospitality. . . make guests feel welcome by folding their towels into clever shapes. Everyone was asked to bring a towel, hand towel, and washcloth. The mom in charge taught us how to fold towels into various shapes including flowers, frogs, elephants, and even monkeys. The girls had so much fun folding and refolding! It is like doing origami with towels instead of paper but the results are WOW! She also had several gift baskets set up to give you ideas. She put together a booklet with hospitality suggestions, ideas, and manners that we read through together. The best tip was we must make guests feel welcome but don’t forget the most important guest, Jesus. We must always make Him feel welcome into our homes and hearts. A mom reported after this meeting that she walked into her bathroom and all her towels had become swans!
